David Parrott Higher Education Administrator

David Parrott is a former professor at the University of Florida. He worked as an information technology specialist for the school for over 20 years before retiring in 2016. During his time at University of Florida, he was responsible for managing and maintaining the school’s computer systems and networks. David Parrott also taught classes on information security and computer forensics. After leaving UF, David was hired at the University of Louisville

 

Higher education specialist David Parrott has an outstanding character that during his time at Southern Illinois University Carbondale he was appointed as vice president for Student Affairs. In this role at the division of Student Affairs, he provided leadership and management for all aspects of student life on campus, including academics, student affairs operations, enrollment management, student financial aid and scholarships, and auxiliary services.

 

Currently, university administrator and education specialist David Parrott is a higher education administrator at the University of Louisville. He has over 25 years of experience in the higher education field and has been instrumental in developing and implementing new programs at the university. When asked about his career, David Parrott says that he never intended to become a higher education administrator. 

 

He originally pursued a degree in business, but after working in the corporate world for a few years, he realized that his true passion was helping others achieve their educational goals. He went back to school and earned his doctorate in educational administration, and has been working in the field ever since. David Parrott believes that education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances. He has worked hard to develop programs that provide opportunities for students from all walks of life to succeed.
